Fall 2026: UGA students can join the national team in four areas.

  • MarketingSocial media, design, and short video, plus outreach to news outlets.
  • OperationsRun service events and corporate packings with the Chief of Staff.
  • Chapters ManagementSupport chapter leads and help start the next chapter.
  • Supply Chain ManagementOrder, store, and stage everything that goes into a backpack.

Corporate packing

Your team packs the backpacks. We bring supplies and deliver them.

  • Cost$25 sponsors one backpack
  • Time60 to 90 minutes in your office
  • SizeMost groups pack 50 to 200 bags. Minimum about 40.

Tell us where you are. Our chapter team will walk you through a first board, a community partner, and your first $250.

Questions

Who can volunteer?
All ages are welcome. Volunteers under 18 should participate with a parent or guardian when required by the event venue or local rules.
How long does a corporate packing take?
60 to 90 minutes. We bring supplies, set up, run the event, and deliver the bags to shelters.
Where do the backpacks go?
We hand them to people experiencing homelessness, often with local shelters and service providers.
Can my school group or club host a packing?
Yes. Use the corporate packing form and tell us about your group.
