What a new chapter needs.

A new chapter needs a small board, a local partner, and one volunteer shift together.

  1. Form a board

Three to five students. Typical roles are President, Chief of Staff, and Director of Partnerships.

  2. Find a community partner

A shelter, soup kitchen, or other group that works with people experiencing homelessness in your city.

  3. Volunteer together

The board volunteers once with a possible partner.

What national gives your chapter

Legal and tax help, insurance, accounting, the TBP name, training and fundraising materials, monthly check-ins, and funding to cover what your chapter cannot raise.
